With 2015 providing a powerful combination of positive cash flow and improved market share, Navistar offers its highest quality products in decades with big product announcements determined to keep building on the momentum. This drive to continue moving in the right direction has inspired other companies to give Navistar their vote of confidence.

For example, Navistar’s International Truck has recently reached a three-year supply agreement with Quality Companies (a wholly owned subsidiary of Celadon Group, Inc.) for a 9,000 truck deal. This deal mostly consists of International® ProStar® and LonStar® Class 8 Tractors powered by Cummins® ISX-15 engines. Making such a deal with Quality Companies (a company that pays close attention to cost of ownership including uptime and fuel economy) demonstrates strong support for Navistar.

Navistar will also be the first-to-market with the Eaton Precision™ line of dual clutch transmission for its International® DuraStar® and IC Bus™ CE series school buses. The new 7-speed transmissions feature a dual-clutch design and electronic shifting to deliver superior fuel economy and smooth, continuous delivery of torque. This combination provides an advantage over similarly equipped vehicles, making pickup and delivery work efficient and effective, while still minimizing required maintenance.

In an effort to better service all branches of the trucking industry, Navistar has announced that it will soon launch a new line of premium vocational trucks for the severe service segment beginning early 2016. A strong collaborative relationship between Navistar and Caterpillar has paved the way for the release of a new line of trucks built with new and exciting technologies and product features to better serve the premium vocational market.

International Truck has also released that it has started production of its first International® WorkStar® vocational trucks powered by the Cummins® ISB6.7 engine. The ISB6.7 is an engine option for both the WorkStar and DuraStar® medium-duty truck, giving the best combination of performance and strength for vocational customers.

International® Truck announced the industry’s first telematics credit for OnCommand™ Connection. With a strong commitment to helping customers improve their uptime, the telematics hardware and a two-year data plan will be standard with no additional cost to the customer. This focus on improving uptime has also lead Navistar to build defect-free trucks delivered on-time or ahead of schedule, provide faster service and repairs at dealerships at lower prices and reducing warranty spending year over year.

Navistar is not standing still, it is looking into the future and beyond. By offering customers best in class quality, uptime, and best in class fuel economy, along with continued technology, design and innovation leadership, Navistar has already made a great impression on dealers around the country.
